  1. v1.3.1 2026-08-10

    Security hardening & reliability

    • Fix Webhooks for Razorpay, Paystack, Mercado Pago, and NOWPayments now correctly process pending payments.
    • Improvement Payment redirect pages are now safe to reload — duplicate receipts and redundant notifications are prevented.
    • Improvement PayPal and Coinify webhooks require signing secrets to be configured; unverified requests are rejected.
    • Improvement Proxy-spoofed IP headers can no longer bypass per-IP rate limits (unless trusted proxy ranges are explicitly configured).
    • Improvement Encrypted gateway secrets now refuse to operate when WordPress security keys are absent, with a clear admin notice.
    • Fix Removed the request scanner that was blocking legitimate form fields; SQL safety is still enforced at the database layer.

    • Fix Discount codes not applied at checkout — the discounted total is now correctly sent to all gateways.

    PayPal security, performance & currency hardening

    • New Optional PayPal Webhook ID — incoming webhooks verified via PayPal's official signature-verification endpoint. Falls back to order re-fetch when empty (backward-compatible).
    • Improvement PayPal OAuth tokens cached in a transient (~9h lifetime) — removes one round-trip per payment, and auto-invalidates when gateway settings change.
    • Fix Stricter PayPal verification: a COMPLETED order with no capture record is now rejected, and the captured amount is no longer compared against the order amount (prevents partial-capture mismatches).
    • Fix Corrected the PayPal zero-decimal currency list to the canonical REST API v2 list — removed HUF & TWD (2-decimal in v2), added BIF, CLP, DJF, GNF, KRW, VND, and 8 more.

    First Public Release

    • New PayPal gateway (Orders REST API v2) for Elementor Pro forms, with Sandbox / Live toggle.
    • New Fixed or dynamic (field-mapped) payment amounts — pull the price from a form field.
    • New Receipt page via the [gatewaykit_receipt] shortcode — customizable with Elementor or the block editor.
    • New Unique, non-guessable tracking code per payment — customers view or print receipts; admins search by code.
    • New Transaction dashboard — real-time status, reference IDs, filtering, and search.
    • New Built-in security — input sanitization, output escaping, nonce verification, rate limiting, and secure logging with sensitive-data redaction.
    • Fix Elementor dependency notice now correctly requires Elementor Pro (the free version is not sufficient).
    • Fix Pro-upsell notice reliably dismisses and stays dismissed (per user).
    • Fix Fresh install no longer shows a false "database needs update" notice.
